Your Windsor Energy Experts

Bob Tellier
I grew up in the building construction field working for my father’s trucking, and general contracting company until I graduated as an Electronics Technician. I was servicing automotive electronics for Chrysler Canada. After that I was drawn back to the construction world and saw a need for professional home inspectors in Windsor-Essex, I became a Home Inspector in 2013. Interested in how to help homeowners create a more comfortable and efficient living environment. I became a Registered Energy Advisor in 2017 as well as completed Net Zero training later that year.

Energy Audits Windsor
If you are a homeowner in Windsor, you could qualify for up to $5,000 to help in making not only an energy-efficient home. It also upgrades your home by home-energy advisors, which is certified by Energy Guide. Energy Werx Windsor can perform an energy evaluation on your home significantly. If you qualify, it can help you to find out, and assist you in making your home more energy efficient. This will reduce your electricity and also will reduce gas bills.
To reduce your home’s energy consumption effectively, we will run several tests to find which rebates you qualify for and develop strategies. The tests that will be conducted include door blower tests, infrared testing and air leak tests. These tests determine areas of improvement and energy efficiency. Energy Werx will conduct a follow-up energy audit to evaluate the progress from the initial audit.
Energy efficiency begins at home. The Greener Home program through the federal government helps homeowners perform energy-efficient upgrades to their homes certainly, making them more affordable, efficient, and comfortable to maintain over the years. By reducing emissions of greenhouse gasses, this program allows you to help Canada transition to a future with cleaner energy. The rebates from the Greener Home program include air sealing improvements, a furnace or boiler replacement, replacements for a window, door, and/or skylight and insulation upgrades, to name a few. The goal of the program is to ultimately make residents of Windsor live a life that’s more environmentally friendly, and that is both affordable and attainable.
