Homeowners in Chatham have the chance to upgrade their Chatham Heat Pumps and also make their homes more energy-efficient from January 1st, 2023 to December 31st, 2023. The government is offering the Home Efficiency Rebate Plus (HER+) Program during this time, which provides rebates of up to $10,600 for upgrading your old furnace, or air conditioner to a high-efficiency central or ductless heat pump system.

To receive the rebates, a qualified energy advisor must install the heat pump, and both the indoor and outdoor units must be new and in good working order. The application and supporting documents, including the invoice, must be submitted within six months of the installation date.
